Eng. Muhammad Mahmoud Mashroom, Chairman of the Society of Engineers, discussed in a remote meeting with Her Excellency Sarah Al Amiri, Minister of State for Advanced Sciences, the reasons for non-continuance of national engineers in the technical fields related to their specializations and the possibility of finding solutions to such challenges .

In addition, the meeting discussed the issue of Emiratisation of competencies in the private sector and reducing employee turnover from the technical fields of administrative fields, along with the role of the Society of Engineers in training and awareness, with the aim of maintaining and upgrading the skills of engineers through the continuous training for engineers on (CPA). The meeting also addressed the need for community awareness of the importance of advanced sciences and various engineering disciplines with a focus on the Fourth Industrial Revolution (industry 4.0) to attract the youth to study such disciplines .
