Mashroom Discusses Cooperation with the UAE University

In a conference call with H.E. Prof. Ghaleb Al Hadrami, Acting Vice Chancellor of the United Arab Emirates University, Eng. Mohamed Mahmoud Mashroom, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Society of Engineers, has reviewed the areas of cooperation, exchange of experiences and future plans and organizing mutual field visits. The conference was attended, Dr. Hamad Al Jasmi, Director of the Center for Roads and Transportation Research and Traffic Safety and Dr. Salem Al Zahmi, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs at the College of Engineering. Khalil Ibrahim Al Hosani, Member of the Board of Directors of the Society of Engineers, Dr. Nahla Ahmed Al Qasimi, Member of the Board of Directors of the Society of Engineers and General Supervisor of the Youth Engineers Council, Engineer Tariq Dimas, Director General of Society of Engineers and Engineer Saleh Al-Marri

At the beginning of the meeting, Eng. Mashroom welcomed the delegation of the University, providing an introductory brief on the Society of Engineers and its role in refining and developing the capabilities of engineers through its various activities and training programs in various engineering disciplines. He referred to the role of the Youth Engineers Council of the SOE and its various societal initiatives, particularly in the area of engineering, praising the level of graduates of the UAE University. He pointed out to the need for joint work and the necessity of activating the membership of SOE for university students as a reference after graduation in order to benefit from its programs and training courses and to get the qualifications enabling them to join the labor market.

On his part, Prof. Ghaleb Al Hadrami praised the accumulated experiences of the Society of Engineers in the area of engineering at the local, regional and international levels and its growing role in promoting and activating the role of engineers in building an urban renaissance through a specific vision drawn from the need to keep pace with development and modernity.
