Engineer Mohamed Mahmoud Mashroum, Chairman of the Society of Engineers' Board of Directors, emphasized that social responsibility is everyone's responsibility. "The pivotal role of social responsibility, being an important foundation of social life that contribute to the progress and development of communities and a measure of individual value within society, in terms of his responsibility towards himself and others." Mashroom further pointed out.

Eng. Mashroom stated this during attending the event organized by the Emirates Society for Social Responsibility, a public welfare organization within UAE. Mahsroom also met president of Emirates Society for Social Responsibility, Yousef Al-Obaidly, and the members of the Board of Directors. The speakers, including the Eng. Azza bin Suliman, narrated their inspiring stories, their involvements and their physical and moral contributions to charity work, expressing such actions' positive impact on the souls and lives of those who are in dire need of them, especially those who suffer from illness or poor living standard.

In the end, Mushroom paid tribute to the efforts of those in charge of the event and the philanthropists who have developed a sense of social responsibility towards others.
