Eng. Sulaiman Abdul Rahman Al-Hajri, Secretary General of the Society of Engineers, praised the success of the second edition of the Young Engineers Forum, which was held at Zayed University in Dubai recently, pointing out that the Forum has achieved goals and objective, with the testimony of His Excellency Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al-Zeyoudi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment, and the guests of the Forum of experts and specialists in the engineering field.
Eng. Sulaiman Al-Hajri expressed its warmest thanks to His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance, Honorary President and First Supporter of the Society of Engineers, for his kind sponsorship of the Forum.
Eng. Sulaiman continued his speech saying that the Forum succeeded as a platform in presenting and discussing the challenges facing the young engineers sector along with the innovative solutions, praising the qualitative attendance of the Forum that enriched the dialogue sessions that dealt with the importance of transferring experiences and knowledge among generations and exchanging experiences,.
The Secretary General of the Society of Engineers appreciated the participation of engineering students in universities and technical colleges in launching many innovative projects in various engineering disciplines, enhancing the UAE's position as an incubator for young creative energies. He said that the second new edition of the Forum is represented in the official announcement of Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award in Engineering Innovation, which confirms the growing interest of the rational leadership in the young engineers sector and creating the appropriate conditions for them for creativity and innovation.
Eng. Sulaiman Al-Hajri confirmed at the end of his speech that the Board of Directors of the Society of Engineers and the Council of Young Engineers are keen on adopting the recommendations of the Forum in coordination with the competent authorities.
