In order to complement the previous meeting with the aim of developing the visions and ideas for the formation of the UAE Association of Professional Engineers, Engineer Mohammed Mahmoud Mushroom, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the UAE Society of Engineers recently met with Dr. Sobeih Khasaf, President of the British Society of Civil Engineers UAE Branch and Dr. Wadah Ghanem, Chief Executive Officer, Department of Environment, Health, Safety, Security, Quality and Corporate Affairs at ENOC Group, in the presence of Dr. Ghanem Kashwani, academic researcher at New York University Abu Dhabi Branch.

The meeting reviewed ways to enhance the concept of a culture of professionalism in the field of engineering, improve the performance of the sector and qualify the capabilities of engineering cadres. The meeting also decided to form a working group from both sides to develop the general features of the formation of the UAE Association of Professional Engineers.

   By the end of the meeting, Mushroom explained that the formation of the association comes to strengthen the status of the regional and global state and to look forward to the UAE centenary 2071 launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE And Prime Minister, Ruler of Dubai, and aimed at investing in the youth of the country, and In line with the SOE's strategy, to provide best engineering practices to its members.
