Eng. Mohamed Mahmoud Mashroom, President of SOE, recently met Dr. Eng. Ghanem Kachwani, lecturer at New York University and Dr. Waddah Ghanem, Head of the Sustainability Department at ENOC Group aiming to translate the Society's goals in providing the engineering best practices, disseminating and promoting the concept of professionalism in the engineering field.

Eng. Mashroom explained that the meeting discussed the exchange of visions and ideas contributing in promoting the capabilities of engineers to serve the engineering field and the labor market's requirements by keeping up with professionalism in various engineering specialties. The meeting concluded that the importance of forming an association named Emirati Professional Engineers Association under the umbrella of the Society of Engineers. The Association shall be concerned with qualifying engineering cadres professionally and promoting the concept of professional engineering to promote the profession and enable engineers, especially youth, to reach optimal solutions, raise the level of performance, encourage creativity and development of the innovation spirit in various engineering specialties.
