The Society of Engineers, UAE, announced the nomination of Dr. Khalil Ibrahim Al Hosani, Board Member, Chairman of the Conferences and Training Committees to run for the membership of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations "WFEO" held in Melbourne, Australia during the period from 18 -24 November on the fringe of the World Engineering Convention. The delegation of the Society, which participates in the meetings of the General Assembly of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations "WFEO", includes Dr. Nahla Ahmed Alqassimi, Board Member, as well as Khalil Al Hosani.

The Society's participation in the World Engineering Event aims to enhancement of its role and position in the major international events related to the engineering sector.

It is noteworthy that The World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO) is an international non-governmental organization that include the National Engineering Organizations in more than 90 countries. WFEO disseminates and facilitates access to engineering information internationally, develop guidelines to facilitate free trade for engineering services, and recognition of the regional and international engineering qualifications.
