Society of Engineers - UAE signs MOU with the Jordanian Engineers Association

The UAE Society of Engineers and the Jordanian Engineers Association have discussed the idea of organizing a Young Engineers Forum in Jordan next year .

This came on the sidelines of signing a memorandum of understanding by the two Parties yesterday evening at the headquarters of the Society of Engineers in Dubai, aiming at enhancing cooperation and exchanging of expertise .

The agreement was signed by Eng. Mohamed Mahmoud Mushroom, President of the UAE Society of Engineers, Eng. Ahmed Samara Al-Zu'bi, President of the Jordanian Engineers Association, and in the presence of Eng. Suleiman Abdul Rahman Al-Hajri, Secretary General of the UAE Society of Engineers, Dr. Khalil Ibrahim Al Hosani, Member of the Board of Directors and Head of the Training and Conferences Committee, and Mohammed Karim, Head of Membership. The delegation of the Jordanian Engineers Association included Eng. Mohamed Al Mahameed, Member of the Association Council, Eng. Mohammed Al Majdalawi, Director of the Pension Fund, as well as Dr. Nasser Al Nsour and Eng. Musa Al Dghimat .

Following the signing ceremony, Eng. Mohamed Mahmoud Mushroom pointed out that the agreement aims at exchanging expertise, visits and training programs, benefiting from the Jordanian experience in the field of specialized committees and supporting the engineering sector in both Countries, focusing on the category of young engineers and developing their abilities through training and qualification to cope with the requirements of the labor market in line with the developments of engineering work regarding artificial intelligence and modern technologies in the engineering field .

On his part, Eng. Ahmed Samara Al-Zu'bi, President of the Jordanian Engineers Association, expressed his happiness to be in the United Arab Emirates … “we are happy to be on the land of Zayed Al Khair, our second home”, praising the good reception, hospitality and generosity. He also praised the UAE's great role in the development of the Arab world and in assisting the Arab peoples and embracing various Arab communities. He pointed out that the agreement is a step to crystallize visions and ideas in a manner serving common goals and pave the way for a future partnership between the UAE Society of Engineers and the Jordanian Engineers Association leading to serve the engineering sector by providing best engineering practices .
