The events of Water, Energy and Environment Technology Exhibition (WETEX) were launched the day before yesterday under the patronage of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and President of DEWA at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre and under the organization of DEWA. The Exhibition coincides with the fourth Dubai Solar Show, the region's largest solar power exhibition, with the participation of 2350 companies from 55 countries.
On the significance of the participation of the UAE Society of Engineers as a main supporter in the Exhibition (WETEX 2019), Eng. Suleiman Abdul Rahman Al-Hajri, Secretary General of the Society, confirmed their keenness to participate actively in various events related to the engineering field. He pointed out that the participation of the Society of Engineers as a major supporter of the Exhibition is an opportunity to publicize the vision and objectives of the Society of Engineers, indicating that the Exhibition represents a platform for experts and specialists to discuss issues related to energy, rationalization and consumption of water and protection of natural resources.
