Federation of Arab Engineers Praises the Efforts of UAE Society of Engineers to its Professional Promotion

Dr. Adel Al-Hadithi, Secretary General of the Federation of Arab Engineers, confirmed the active role played by the UAE Society of Engineers in advancing the engineering profession at the Arab level, saying (since joining the Federation in 1984, UAE Society of Engineers has been exerting great efforts to raise the status of the Emirati and Arab engineers through the development of capabilities and keenness to participate effectively and its continued presence in all events traditionally organized by the Federation of Arab Engineers)

This came during his visit yesterday evening to the headquarters of the Society of Engineers in Dubai in the presence of Ms. Huda Mohammed Abdul Jalil, Director General of the Federation of Arab Engineers. He was received by Eng. Mohamed Mahmoud Mashroom, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Dr. Khalil Ibrahim Al Hosani, Member of Board of Directors, Head of the Training and Conferences Committee, and Member of the Arab Authority for Engineers Qualification and Accreditation of the Federation of Arab Engineers.

The visit of the Secretary General of the Federation of Arab Engineers to the UAE is to participate in the 26th World Road Congress currently held in Abu Dhabi.

The meeting discussed the ways of enhancing and activating the role of the Arab Authority for Engineers Qualification and Accreditation in order to advance the engineering education at the level of the Arab world and the accompanying development of the capabilities of the Arab engineer in a manner enabling them to keep pace with the requirements of the labor market. Eng. Mushroom delivered a briefing on the progress of the Society of Engineers during forty years, based on its strategy towards the society and openness to all educational institutions related to the engineering area, exchanging expertise and complementing the role of the Society in sharpening the skills of engineers and engineering students in universities to keep pace with various engineering majors.
