Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa,
Prime Minister of Bahrain, on 21 February 2018, the activities of the 21st session of the
Gulf Engineering Forum in the Kingdom of Bahrain was launched under the motto
"Disputes in Engineering Projects and Ways of Solving Them" organized by the Bahrain
Society of Engineers, in cooperation with the Gulf Engineering Union.
The UAE participated in the 21st Gulf Engineering Forum through the Society of
Engineers-UAE, where the UAE delegation was headed by Raed Al-Arashi, a member
of the Board of Directors and the Chairman of the Center for Engineering Arbitration
and Alternative Means.
The exhibition reviewed the experience of the Society of Engineers- UAE in the field
of engineering arbitration and alternative means. The project was discussed by Eng.
Raed Al-Arashi, who presented a power point addressing the concept of mediation
and its operations in solving low and medium-scale conflicts.
